Responsibilities
- Participate in the Operational Risk Management Committee
- Responsible for overseeing policy and governance, internal controls, and monitoring and assessment teams.
- The primary focus will be on operational risk oversight, setting risk policies, and further developing and maintaining risk management processes.
- Stay updated on new operational risk regulations and ensuring compliance. This position will be part of the bank’s second line of defense (2LoD).
Requirements
- The ideal candidate should possess a degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- They should have a solid background of 15-18 years in operational risk management within banking, particularly in retail, corporate, or private banking.
- Demonstrated experience in people management for at least 10 years is required.
- Professional qualifications in operational risk management would be advantageous.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese, including Putonghua.
