Cyber-Security Risk Manager (Global Asset Management Company)

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, policies, and procedures.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity controls, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and vulnerability management tools.
• Conduct regular security assessments and risk evaluations to identify potential vulnerabilities.
• Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and remediation of security incidents.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure timely software and system updates.
• Conduct security awareness training and education programs for employees.
• Stay informed about emerging threats and trends in the cybersecurity landscape.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners for security-related products and services.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Liaise with different global business units and IT team.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity management or a similar role, preferably from the Asset Management industry or Financial Services background.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, practices, and technologies.
• Experience in developing and implementing cybersecurity strategies and frameworks.
• In-depth understanding of security risk assessment methodologies and vulnerability management.
• Proficiency in managing security incident response processes.
• Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards such as GDPR, PCI DSS, and ISO 27001.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CISA are desirable.
